The new era Twickenham Film Studios continue their expansion and ambitious growth plans by launching the UK’s largest and most state-of-the-art Dailies department.


The new Dailies offering is lead by TFS Head of Picture Stuart Bryce, Tomasz Witkowski TFS Director of Engineering & Technology and Jack Watts TFS Head of Technology & Standards who have brought together a world-class team of Dailies creatives, colour scientists, artists and technical operators to deliver the very best tent pole Feature Film and Episodic work for all the big Film Studios and Streamers.


As a creatively focused department the new Dailies team assembled has worked on the likes of: Mission Impossible 7 (Paramount), House Of The Dragon (HBO), Call My Agent (Bron/Amazon Studios), The Fantastic Beasts trilogy (Warner Bros), The Man From U.N.C.L.E (Warner Bros), Black Mirror (Netflix), His Dark Materials (BBC / HBO) and Bridgerton (Netflix) amongst others.   


The future focused studios, is a Home For Filmmakers offering clients a welcoming campus that combines expertise with scale. This newly launched TFS Dailies department is the very latest in the story - as the site offers existing and new clients the full service end to end solution across Studios, Picture, Sound, Workspace and Social.


The world class facility offers clients 10x Dailies suites and 4x state of the art picture 4K VFX review theatres complete with the latest Baselight alongside Daylight grading and Dailies software.


This on site, state-of-the-art offering is matched with an equally safe and secure remote Dailies solution which enables the expert TFS team to capture and create images on set live from locations around the world.

With secure on-location LTO archive and a unified colour pipeline between Dailies/VFX/DI/Mastering, our ‘dailies-to-delivery' approach ensures continuity at every stage of the post-production process”.


TFS Director of Technology & Engineering Tomasz Witkowski added “For added flexibility and responsiveness, the new TFS Dailies department offers secure automated cloud backup from on-location Dailies setups for all approved media, allowing for immediate VFX pulls whilst the productions are still shooting. This coupled with our bespoke workflows, working with Pixit Media, makes for a one-of-a-kind client creative and tech experience. We also offer a secure review and approve solution via our software partners allowing us to keep our clients’ Dailies safe to view with 2FA and watermarked content. The DCI compliant 4k grading theatres allows the agile review of Dailies grading on-site at our TFS campus, with direct playback from the RAW or direct from the editorial cutting rooms. Essentially all this means we are here to enhance the space and security within which our clients can make the best work”.
